Doppelganger is a party event where dark copies of MU characters rush toward the Magical Barrier. Stop the advance for 10 minutes, defeat the bosses and survive the final confrontation to claim Silver, Gold and Mastery rewards.

Times below are server time. The notification appears 10 minutes before the battle and the event enters its ready stage 3 minutes before the listed start.

How To Enter

Bring one Mirror of Dimensions for the party

Create The Ticket

Collect 5 Signs

Hunt level 32+ monsters for Sign of Dimensions. Five Signs automatically combine into one Mirror of Dimensions.

Build The Party

At least 2 players

Every participating party needs 2-5 members. The room needs at least two parties and accepts a maximum of four.

Enter The Event

Rugard or Event Square

Speak with Rugard in Loren Market or use the event notification to enter Event Square. Only one party member needs the Mirror; the party moves together.

Characters with PK status cannot enter. All party members must qualify for the same configured level room. Each character can participate up to 3 times per day, including VIP accounts.

Regular, Master and Majestic experience earned inside the event uses an additional x2 multiplier. Mastery Box eligibility also depends on event contribution.

Battle Mechanics

Hold the line, kill the bosses, survive the duel

Defend the Magical Barrier

Doppelgangers continuously spawn and move toward your base. The pressure increases as the battle progresses.

Defeat three Slaughterers

Three main waves are led by Slaughterer bosses. Defeating them opens the intermediate treasure-chest choice.

Kill the Ice Walkers quickly

Ice Walkers appear according to the number of participating characters. If they survive for one minute, later monsters become stronger.

Win the final party battle

If multiple parties survive the 10-minute defense, PvP continues for up to 3 additional minutes to determine the final winner.

Barrier failure

The defense fails when 3 monsters pass through the Magical Barrier.

Character death

A dead character fails individually but does not lose EXP, Zen or equipped items.

Tie-break order

Survivors, monster kills, then the lower average level of surviving party members.

Intermediate Reward

Silver Chest

After defeating the Slaughterer bosses, choose one of three intermediate chests. The configured chance to receive the item reward is 4%; an unsuccessful chest releases Larva monsters instead.

Jewels x5

One random stack: Jewel of Bless x5 or Jewel of Soul x5.

Successful item rewards are delivered to the Gremory Case.

Final Reward

Gold Chest

The final winning party receives the Gold Chest. Opening it awards one random item from the configured pool, delivered directly to the eligible character's Gremory Case.

Awarded to each surviving character of the final winning party.

EXP + Gens Points

Winner EXP depends on the room. Gens reward starts at 50 plus total character level divided by 10.

0-2 Mastery Boxes

Contribution comes from monster kills, player kills, Ice Walker kills and winning. Box count depends on the level room.

Quick FAQ

Before you enter

Does every player need a Mirror of Dimensions?

No. One Mirror held by a party member is enough to move the entire eligible party.

Can one party start the event?

No. The configured minimum is two parties, each containing at least two players.

Is PvP enabled?

Yes. Parties compete directly, particularly during the additional final battle that decides the surviving winner.

Where do item rewards appear?

Configured Silver and Gold item rewards are stored in the Gremory Case under the Doppelganger reward type.

Party Strategy

Do not chase every monster alone. Keep damage near the frontline, assign players to intercept anything that escapes, save burst damage for Slaughterer and Ice Walker, and enter the final PvP phase with as many surviving party members as possible.
